On February 14, 2020 the construction site for the St Cecilia School in Dundori, Kenya, officially opened with the laying of the foundation stone by the County authorities and ABBA, which is committed to this project for the construction of a school complex for 400 children.
The governor of Nyandarua County H.E.Francis Kimemia, with some ministers, and numerous guests attended the ceremony, presided over by the vicar general of the Diocese, fr Timothy Macharia.
Women and men from 12 communities worked all day to dig the land that houses the foundations of the first building.
This opened the construction site for the first stage, which includes 15 classrooms and services.
