Until now the school drew water from a polluted lake and from a well inside the school, which was insufficient to meet the needs during the dry season, and the water had to be purchased at a high cost. In winter, rainwater is recovered in a tank.
During 2019, ABBA financed the construction of a well over 300 meter deep for the supply of drinking water. The pumping system powered by combined photovoltaic energy activated by 38 solar panels and conventional electricity, will avoid that the operation of the well depends exclusively on the national grid, subject to constant fluctuations and frequent blackouts.
Also built a small "kiosk" for the sale of water to the local population.
