The center is located on a property of the parish, consisting of some buildings in masonry, and others with recycled material. The school welcomes students from the first to the eighth class, and a kindergarten class, where the Montessori method was recently introduced.
A hundred or so children who come from far away stay in the centre to sleep. The school calendar includes four holiday breaks a year, so they return home every 3 months.
In addition to the structural problems of the buildings, there is a great difficulty in the supply of drinking water during the dry season.
In winter it is very cold. At the moment there is a very expensive and ineffective wood system to generate hot water for the showers.
